On May 11, the press conference for the 2nd China Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry Development Conference 2025 was held at Shibo High-Tech Hospital in Zibo, Shandong Province.
Co-hosted by the China Medicine Education Association and the Shandong Pharmaceutical Industry Association, the conference focuses on the theme of “New Cross-Boundary Integration, New Intelligent Chain Transformation, and New Model Exploration.” Centered on AI healthcare, modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, and precision medicine, the event aims to build an integrated innovation platform connecting government, industry, academia, research and application, promote industrial upgrading, and support the Healthy China strategy.
Academician Huang Zhengming, chairman of the conference and lifelong honorary president of the China Medicine Education Association, noted that the conference closely aligns with the 14th Five-Year Plan and promotes industrial transformation and upgrading through three dimensions: new integration, new intelligence and new models.
The conference adopts a “1+6+N” multidimensional format, featuring keynote speeches, six sub-forums and industrial practice activities. The “AI Empowerment for Smart Healthcare” sub-forum focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in disease prediction and precision diagnosis and treatment, aiming to optimize medical resource allocation and reduce costs.
The conference emphasized that the future of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry belongs to those who dare to break boundaries and innovate. With policy guidance and multi-party collaboration, China’s pharmaceutical and healthcare industry will move toward a new stage of high-quality, intelligent and sustainable development, opening a new chapter for the Healthy China initiative and contributing Chinese solutions to global health.
